Strong Coffee
Strength refers exclusively to the brewing process. A strong coffee is made by using a higher coffee to water ratio and refers to the concentration of the beverage rather than roast level. Espresso by definition is a strong drink since it's brewed as a very concentrated form of coffee.
An Australian study investigating five popular types of coffee brewing methods has found that espresso contains the highest concentration of caffeine.
The most concentrated coffee type is a ristretto – this contains relatively the highest level of caffeine. However, a lungo is larger and thus contains more caffeine than a ristretto. Based on concentration levels of caffeine, these would be the strongest coffee types: RISTRETTO.
All you have to do is add more grounds to the water ratio than you normally would and leave it to soak for longer. It's pretty simple really. The stronger the coffee bean and the more the coffee beans you use the stronger your coffee will be.

We recommend a 17:1 water-to-coffee ratio, but you can also weigh your coffee according to the specifications of your brew method. From there, you can adjust to taste: if your coffee tastes too strong or bitter, use less coffee, and if it tastes weak or grassy, use more coffee.

By doubling or tripling the amount of coffee grounds you put in the water, you can double or triple the concentrated strength.
